I have to say the internet is a pretty crazy place. As a pastor in the past I was all about relationships. As God moved me into G4W full time I wondered what happens next. Well we have gone social!! We now connect with people not only on the G4W site but on Myspce, Twitter, Flicker, Facebook, and several IM machines. Talk about relationships!! It is awesome all the stuff that is going on. I would ask all of you to check out our new updated Myspace.com/graphics4worship page and also fly over to Twitter/g4w then last but not least check out the cool stuff going on at our Flickr/graphics4worship group. We just got done with a so you think you can design contest that was amazingly crazy cool. It is amazing to chat with people from the US, South Africa, The Netherlands and so many other places. Hope to see you in the network and looking forward to hearing from you.

Graphics4Worship Launched G4W Design
posted on April 10th, 2008 by George in Media Blog
We are very excited to take our team to the next level. We here at Graphics4Worship in the past have been asked if we could create church websites. We heard the request and have answered the call. We have taken a look around at other companies and seen many church sites in need of help. It is with a heart of ministry, love and help that we sat together and tried to figure out fair pricing and a design that would let folks who had no clue how to code a site the ability to still work on their church site. The other important factor was a tech support or even the ability for our team to keep the pages updated. We even created an interface that church website members can login and upload their updates (mp3, word, video, and many other formats) It then goes into their folder and our team is alerted to the needed updates. So if you need some site work done just contact our team and we will begin to help you figure out your web ministry. You can see our package plans, Portfolio and more HERE.

Discounted Prices For Creativity
posted on April 10th, 2008 by George in Media Blog
I had seen some emails floating around about churches getting a discount on Adobe products like Photoshop and Dreamweaver. I had hunted for this to see if it was real or false because it was exciting news to me. The thought of churches being able to get good tools to be creative in ministry is a wonderful thought. The other day I was watching a favorite podcast of mine ChurchMediaDesign.tv Brad Zimmerman does a wonderful job helping to teach the church about technology. It was there that I learned the emails were true. You can go over to the academicsuperstore.com and get many Adobe products for hundreds of dollars less for your church. This and all the video tutorials on the net can really help you advance your church media program. If you have any questions about what software to choose for your church please contact us we are more than wiling to help you find a fit.

After watching a ton of tutorials on many other sites and searching for new technology we believe we can offer a better tutorial than the old ones. You can help us out in our efforts. if there is something you want to now how to do then please just email us and we will create it in the new format for you and post it in what will be our new tutorial section. Thank you for all our visitors and members and we pray that God is blessing your ministries.

Working or Playing?
posted on February 12th, 2008 by George in Media Blog
Our pastor a time back preached a sermon on going to play and not going to work. While we live in a strange world of being able to go to work in jeans and an old t-shirt it was easy for us to embrace the whole play theology. Then came Easter LOL. We have been working hard on adding products for you all to use this Easter. We have just added 100 Organic Video content items. We will be moving into Midnight Oil, The Work Of The people, and VMG Backgrounds very soon. Also make sure you check out the February Freebies in stills and Videos. May God bless you all this season and just get shoot us a word if you need any help.

I figured I should post something to all the IE7 users out there. Our site was down on your side for a day as we added our new flash area of the new interface. While I use Firefox and all seemed to be great, all our IE people were freaking out. It was almost as bad as the Whopper being taken off the menu! (LOL)
While I am on the browser kick I should let you all know to check out Flock! It is pretty cool and comes with great features if you are a community or information junkie. Download it take it for a test drive and let us know what you think.

New Features And Interface
posted on January 29th, 2008 by George in Media Blog
We are moving forward in several ways to try to make Graphics4Worship easier to travel upon and better for our vendors and customers. A couple features that I would like to mention is the moving of the Latest uploads. When they were located on the front page we were only able to feature 20 or so elements. Now we have 3 pages of new content that you can check back on and see if any of it will fit into your ministry.
We also have opened up our Podcast area. We plan on growing this into an actual show but for now we are going to have 1 or 2 tutorials on several different programs. Please pray for us on this as we are praying on what this podcast should be. Our desire is that it would be a tool for training but in what areas is still up for debate.
We also launched in this new interface a flash panel that will feature cool things we find on the net and also Products from our vendors that we think are true ministry helps. This is located under the featured designer area. If you know of a cool internet secret that many could benefit from please let us know as we will be open for submitted ideas to go in this area.
We as a ministry are trying to turn ourselves into a place of not only great media but of training and ideas as well. That is why we would also like to mention the live support button located on the top left portion of our navigational panel. We have added this so that we can be only a click away if you need help or want to share an idea with our ministry. We pray that we are helping in at least some small way in your ministry. May God bless you and may creativity run free in your church worship!

Sorry About The Glitch
posted on January 30th, 2008 by George in Media Blog

Free training to sharpen your sword!
posted on January 2nd, 2008 by George in Media Blog
I want to pass on some free training stuff for Photoshop and other Adobe applications. We as church tech gurus need to keep sharpening our sword. Jesus and His ministry is worth all the training we can get. There are some paid site that I will blog about at a later time but for today we will just hit the free ones.

The Russell Brown Show
You can also load iTunes on to your computer and search for podcast’s that are also free to download and view.
One of the things that we love to do is create video tutorials for our visitors and members. We have taken them down for now so that we can reevaluate the way we were giving them to you.
